An aqueous capacitor battery hybrid device based on Na-ion insertion-deinsertion in λ-MnO2 positive electrode

• λ-MnO2 is synthesized via treating LiMn2O4 with H2SO4. • λ-MnO2 electrode exhibits a high specific capacity of 390.7mAhg−1 at 13.6mAg−1. • The capacitor battery AC/λ-MnO2 shows a specific energy of 19.7WhKg−1 at a power density of 3500WKg−1.
